What is Consignment Warehouse?

A consignment warehouse is a storage facility where a supplier (consignor) keeps their goods on the warehouse premises.

The consignment warehouse acts as an intermediary between the manufacturer and the consignor, allowing the goods to be stored close to the consignor’s customers. The consignor retains ownership of the goods until they are sold, at this point, the consignment warehouse deducts a commission for their services.
